There's an App for That (TRAVEL!)

Let’s talk travel.

I love it. You love it. We all love it…

Good- we’re on the same page.

Now lets talk planning.

UGGHGHGHHGHGHG!!!! BLAH! *exasperated sigh*

You still with me?

With the need to carefully plan out budgets, hotel bookings, flights, places to see, places to eat, and what to do, it can very quickly become overwhelming (especially if you’re doing it all by yourself).

Maps are useful, but today aren't the best way to plan a trip...

We’ve all heard the term “many hands makes easy lifting,” and the same can apply when planning a trip. Travelling with a partner can help cut accommodation and travel costs in half, and experiencing the world with the right person can make a trip twice as memorable (cue the part where the camera pans over to my boyfriend Max, wearing a halo and grinning).

Although I have Max, who’s down for (nearly) every wild road-trip or flight I suggest, not everyone has someone who’s as adventurous as they are (and trust me, Tinder probably isn’t the best site to find these people).

This is where GAFFL comes in.

Get. A. Friend. For. Life.

The concept is simple, but can be a pivotal change for those who wish to enhance their travel with meaningful connections.

As soon as you enter GAFFL’s web page, the words “find adventurers and trip together” pops up, and it’s as easy as that. You type in your destination, and you are instantly connected with like-minded individuals in that area. From there, the site allows you to get connected with the individuals to plan and safely travel together.

Your brain can only remember places so well, but it’s the experiences and emotions tied to it that make an experience truly memorable. For me, so much of my travelling is not about where I went, but who I spent those times with.

Whether you’re travelling by yourself, or travelling with friends, GAFFL can allow you to save money, make friends, plan, and execute trips of a lifetime together.

The internet is such a big part of our lives today, it only makes sense to help enhance our travel too.

With that being said, I’m already planning my next trips, and plan to fully utilize the technology in my hands to do so.

Brb… I’ve got a flight to book!

Cheers,

Chloë
